Scotstounhill play in the Clydebank and District League.
The league matches are played on a Friday night and consist of 3 rinks at home and away. Clubs play each other twice and
2 points are awarded for a win and 1 point for games tied. The Club with the highest 'shots for' after each club match
are awarded 2 "bonus points". Points won are accumulated over the league campaign and the club with the highest points
win the league at the end of the season.

Taylor Cup
The Taylor Cup is played for against Dumbartonshire Bowling Association and member clubs
submit teams to compete under the C.D.B.A. banner. Scotstounhill do not take part in this competition.
Top Five
A singles competition where each club enter their "top five" singles players.
The club is then drawn against another club and the club with the highest number of wins go through to the next round.

Mixed Pairs
The mixed pairs competition is played over one day and representatives from each club play to a finish.
This year's is held on Sunday 17th June starting at 10.0am
Top Ten
A singles, pairs, triples and rink knock-out competition. The Club is drawn against another club and the club with the highest number of wins go through. Rules are in place to determine the winning Club in the event of a tie.

Champion of Champions
A competition where the Clubs enter their best singles player, best junior singles player,
best pairs, best triples,best rink and best senior rink. Each team are drawn individually against
another Club and the winner progresses through to the next round. A Finals Day is held at the club of the
President of the C.D.B.A.
